CUPOLA SANCTIS
SFÂNTUL NICOLAE

Nicholas is children’s most beloved saint due to the gifts they are offered on the 6th of December. Born, like many other founders of Christianity, during Diocletian and Maximian’s period of persecution, he lived a hermit’s life, preaching the right faith.

Saint Nicholas stands for the absolute symbol of dedication, charity and support offered to the needy. The custom of offering gifts on Saint Nicolas day comes from an old story. They say a very poor man had three beautiful daughters. It occurred to him to bring shame upon his life and home by selling his daughters. God revealed to Nicholas the honest life the man had since lived and the danger threatening him. Nicholas decided to help the poor man, but he neither wanted to appear nor to disclose where the help came from. In the middle of the night, he threw through man’s window a golden money bag, thus saving him from a life of poverty and from sinning.

Saint Nicholas is celebrated on the 6th of December.

Saint Nicholas is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which develops bold notes of spices, dried plums, chocolate and accents of berries, spices, vanilla and butter. Dense and velvety, with pleasing and elegant tannins, the wine has a friendly structure but also a depth that dries you to the sensation of spice and wood. Its structure indicates that wine has good potential for evolution and aging.
