In the heavenly hierarchy, all the seven archangels rank higher than the angels. Out of them, Michael and Gabriel are the greatest benefactors of mankind.

Archangel Michael, whose name means “Who is like onto God” is the voivode of the heavenly hosts and the holder of the flaming sword; his duty is to make the Law of God observed. When Lucifer revolted and the fall of angels did start, it was Michael’s cry – “Let us take care!” – that stopped it. Michael is also the archangel who, at the end of times, will sound of the trumpet and gather the nations for the Last Judgement.
Archangel Gabriel, whose name can be translated by “Man of God”, carried Virgin Mary’s prayer to Heaven, uttered for the first time the name of Jesus, gave John the Baptist the name and revealed the mystery of embodiment to the magi. He is the patron saint of mothers and children. Archangel Gabriel takes the ardent prayers up to Heaven and brings them back fulfilled. Both of them are celebrated on the 8th of November, the day the Holy Angels and Archangels are worshiped.

Saints Michael and Gabriel is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which develops bold notes of spices, dried plums, chocolate and accents of berries, spices, vanilla and butter. Dense and velvety, with pleasing and elegant tannins, the wine has a friendly structure but also a depth that dries you to the sensation of spice and wood. Its structure indicates that wine has good potential for evolution and aging.
